Our research concentrates on aspects of molecular biophysics especially the structure, dynamics and function of proteins as well as on computer-assisted prediction of organ function of the cardiovascular system in particular. In the long term, our interdisciplinary research should lead to new therapeutic and preventative strategies as well as advances in precision medicine.

We are researching materials science, photopharmacological, and protein-structure-based technologies for application in clinically relevant fields. We apply this minimally invasive precision medicine to local chemotherapy, the treatment of neurological disorders, and the modulation of the immune system.
